How to Create a Better, Fuller, and Happier Life… in One Weekend.

As we all spend countless weekends trying to encapsulate the pleasure of our “American Freedom” in the space of two days; just to start over on Monday, we often wonder if things will ever change.

Once in a long while we will experience a weekend that changes us, it may be skydiving, river rafting, an epiphany-like sunset, or even finding love.  All of these were opportunities that we had to get out and act upon.

One of the wisest things I have learned is that little changes often have the biggest impacts in our lives; another thing was to not prejudge an experience before I have openly experienced it.  These two little wisdoms may give you the chance to change your traditional weekend experiences, and seek a place you haven’t been before. A place that culminates the multitudes of life changing possibilities, an environment teeming with open doorways to opportunities you may not have known existed. That place is the Green Festival. Life speeds up as we get older; I offer the possibility that this is true when we have gotten really good at the same routines. Attending the “Green Festival” is a chance to break that cycle, to slow it down, open up the mind and listen, learn, and enjoy the entertainment of brilliant and impassioned people sharing their life improving activities and wares.

Most of us unconsciously quest for that innocent enchantment we had as kids, that boundless sense of excitement that we felt when something new was coming our way.

The “Green Festival” captures the very essence of adventure and rejuvenates that childhood sense of joy. It is nothing short of magic that has the potential to positively transform your life. Every person there has a story to tell, lessons to share, practices to teach and the talents & wisdoms to guide life choices that help you enhance your finite and purposeful time on this amazing but struggling planet.

Some of you may wonder what this has to do with “The Finding Finite Project” and the answer is: Everything! Having everyone understand the importance of changing the way we do things while reaching them in a positive way is at the very core of the project. This isn’t an advertisement; it’s my way to honor the efforts that the festivals organizers have made to make this event happen and to ensure that you get to experience such an enriching opportunity. I am further honored to be a writer, when I can share a gathering point of fantastic people and a collective of such great importance.

The intangible power of community is that it brings together people that are experiencing different things and going about those things in different ways. That is the routine breaking wonder of diversity, and whether it’s your local neighborhood or this incredible gathering of dedicated trailblazers, solution experts, and master storytellers; they offer you the truest opportunity to increase your quality of life and abundance of health.

As you explore the festivals many arenas of interests, it may be that quick chat with a guy from a gardening co-op that triggers just enough curiosity for you to start a garden that enriches your health and creates a rewarding family time, or that women that seems to radiate as she shares Yoga practices, that motivates a change that brings your life an energy and health you didn’t realize was possible. This festival is the place to enjoy, enrich, and seed positive life enhancements.

I wholeheartedly endorse and suggest this event. I can promise one thing with absolute surety, if you attend this event with an open mind, take the time to look around and converse with the amazing people there, you will leave with an enhanced outlook and a bolstered motivation to live better.
